Design your own Rose

When our intrepid travellers are in Ecuador, they land in a rose farm.  In our mission Design your own Rose, readers are asked to name their own rose, describe it and say who they would give it to.

From Ryder (Age 10) Toronto: I would name my rose " Stormfor". It would be a purple and blue, short stem rose with a strong smell.  I would give it back to nature. 

From Hussein (Age 13) Oakville: I would name my rose "Ocean".  It would be blue with a long stem and I would give it to anyone who likes fish. 

From Kaylon (Age 14) Toronto: I would name my rose "SweeterManz".  It would be purple, white, pink and light blue and would have strong perfume.  I would give it to my mother. 

From Bassel (Age 12) Oakville: I would name my rose "Lightening". It would be a purple long stem rose and I would give it back to nature. 

From Zeina (Age 12) Oakville: I would name my rose 'Soul Rose".  It would be a black, long stem with a balanced smell.  I would give it to my family. 

From Nikita (Age 10) Toronto: I would name my rose "unicorn rose🦄".  It's a short stem rose, purple and white with a rainbow stem, with a very fruity smell🍇.  I would give it to a unicorn. 

From Mira (Age 10) Toronto: I would name my rose "hyacintho elephantis". It is multicolour.eThe bottom is white, and it becomes darker and darker, finally becoming blue. It's a long stem rose and would smell like elephants. 🐘.  I would give it to a community garden, so that my rose could be regenerated forever and ever.

From Gabby (Grade 5) Michigan: I would name my rose Maxwell.  It would be a long stem rose with a subtle smell and would be coloured a mix of different blues and greens.  I would give it to my mother. 

From Evelyn (Grade 5), Toronto: I would name my rose Rosey. My rose would be a long stem rose, bright red in colour and smell like cookies and peaches.  I would give it to my mother.  

From Jonah (Grade 6), Toronto: I would name my rose Rosie. It would be a long stem rose and black in colour.  I would give it my friend. 

From Eve (Grade 5), Toronto:  I would name my rose Lily.  It would be a short stem rose, white at the bottom and gradually turns purple.  It would smell like the ocean and it would smell strong.  I would give it to my mother.
