Day 1: January 21,2023
9:00 to 10:00 (grades 1 to 3)

The children were taught about money, including a three-jar activity for saving, investing, and spending.

Kids learnt about the cash money with different coins and their names.

Did a little popcorn activity and saw who won.

Taught them how to split the money fairly.

They are given to do the 3 jars activity at home
Day 2: January 28, 2023
9 am to 10 am (grades 1 to 3)
- We began by revising three jars and drawing some examples from real-life situations. In which Jade fully participated, and Zion provided some similar examples.
- Then we began learning about the golden rules of saving. 5 rules that I explained with examples and what they should do to follow them.
- Following that, I began presenting about living a balanced life and how things are easier in life if we learn to balance and prioritise things and money.
- Finally, I gave them 5 minutes to draw on the whiteboard, and they demonstrated some creativity, which was enjoyable for them. :)
- I also assigned them the task to find their goal to save money for!
Day 3: February 4, 2023
9 am to 10 am (grades 1 to 3)
- Today there was only one student as Isabella was sick. As a result, we began by revising the golden rules of saving. Following that, I took a knowledge quiz on the portal based on golden rules, which I completed with Zion.
- I began with a budgeting video and then asked some questions in between. Then, using an example, I explained wants and needs in daily life, as well as how to use money properly.
- Finally, I gave him one more example to practise at home.
***Please note that there will be a 2 weeks break starting this Sat and the next. Classes will resume Feb 25***
Day 4: Feb 25, 2023
9 am to 10 am (grades 1 to 3)
- The class began by reviewing previous concepts such as three jars, the golden rules of saving, and budgeting.
- After that, we took some quizzes with questions and answers.
- After that, I taught them about banking, the various types of accounts available in banks, and how to save money.
- Finally, I asked them to create another budgeting example.
