program at his school. He launched, Chocolate Masters, a hot chocolate business that raised money to get school supplies.
How did you hear about the Investment Competition?
I heard about it because I had done one of the Young Entrepreneur Program though our lunch programs at my school and my mom read about the challenge and thought I would be interested. My friend William is always talking about the programs he does with Explorer Hop and how much fun they are.
How much investing experience do you have?
I have always been interested in the stock market, but I just started investing real money through an online discount brokerage account this past July.
What are you hoping to get from participating in the competition?
I am hoping to get practice for later on in life and just have fun right now.
What would you say to inspire other kids to learn about investing?
I would say that if you start practicing investing money now, you can have a better chance of making real money in the future. I am just 11 and I already love it.
