Jayson Sone (Age 11)
This incredible young man has taken to finance like a fish to water! He joined us in Camp Millionaire Level 1
and we were so impressed by his ability to process information and apply it. As one of the youngest competitors in our Global Investment Challenge, he has been studying the markets and really taking time to make some very strategic investments.
How did you hear about the Investment Competition?
I heard about the Global Investment Challenge when I was at Camp Millionaire. When I heard about it I was very excited to have the opportunity to participate in the challenge!
How much investing experience do you have?
I have some experience investing because I have done Level 1 Camp Millionaire
, but because of this investment challenge I am getting more confident at investing. What are you hoping to get from participating in the competition?
I am hoping to get experience in investing almost every day and I am learning how to invest better than before. Even though the Global Investment Challenge is to make the most amount of money within a short span of time, this experience has also taught me how to invest over a long period of time.
What would you say to inspire other kids to learn about investing?
For me investing was and is a fun way of learning new things about companies and it was a way for me to connect and get closer to my family. It is also great skill to have as you grow up because you will already know the basics. Taking classes and participating in the challenge are fun ways to learn about investing.
What other hobbies do you have?
Some of my hobbies are hockey, solving Rubik’s cubes, Coding and Minecraft.
