Climb a Coconut Tree

Climb a Coconut Tree

When Mira & Teyus have an adventure in the Philippines, they meet a biy called Nonoy.  He climbs up a coconut tree to get them some leaves that they need to save the day.

Climbing a coconut tree is very dangerous, so we asked Explorerhop kids what they would do to make it safer. Here are some of the comments:

Ryder (Age 10) Toronto:  I would effectively use my feet and legs to climb up the tree.

Kaylon (Age 14) Toronto: It's very dangerous to climb coconut trees.  Don't climb them.

Hussein (Age 13) Toronto:  Use safety harnesses or another way to get the coconuts.

James (Age 8) Toronto:  Use a fold up ladder to get the coconuts.
