Day 2: October 15, 2025

We had a great and very productive lesson today and started working on an Operations Plan.   

Next week, we will work on logos so it's a good idea for them to come with ideas they may have. 

Here is what each team needs to do:

Oct 29: Complete 10-15 boxes - but be very NEAT.

Oct 22: Cost of producing 1 large plushie, 1 small plushie and 1 bracelet.  Break it down into what is needed to make it and cost of each item.

Great Origami but need to see more team-work with everyone making them.

Oct 22:  Need a list of everything needed and the cost to make each item.

Oct 22:

  • Make a list of all the items needed to make the ornaments and the cost of it. 
  • Decide who will make which ornament. 
  • Need to see sample of Christmas card with collectable. 

 

Oct 29: 

Have 20 of each time of ornament ready.

LOTS of work is needed here.  Need more teamwork and communication. 

The 3D designs are cool but it looks like only 1 person is doing the work. 

Suggest Benji and Phoenix do their own different business.  Please come up with some ideas. 

Oct 22 :

  • Cost for printing out the 3D designs and the time it takes to print it.  
  • Decision on what is doing to be produced pending cost & time estimates. 
  • Plan on who is going to do what.

  • Plan on who is going to design and print stickers is due. 

Benji + Phoenix:  Suggest you build your own business with the interests you have as you it's no fun being part of a project when you can't build it.  Please come next week with business ideas and we can work on launching that.

NOV 28: Fair held at school (for students only) 

Fair is called “Companies of the Future

All profits are going to an Animal Shelter - Toronto Humane Society

The students will all have their own projects and here is an outline of what they are doing:

Bring 2 completed surprise boxes next week and write down exactly what is inside

Bring 5 examples fully made of the types of plushies you want to sell -  remember make them small.

Bring 5 -8 finished versions of what you want to sell
