WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
In this course, students will focus on different derivatives, futures, and swaps. They will start with learning how to trade arbitrage and minimize risk using hedging before proceeding with futures and options, with strategies provided for both.
Students will also learn about the different types of swaps - currency, commodity, interest rate, and credit default swaps - and how they work.
Lastly, they are introduced to alternative investments such as private equity, hedge funds, and REITs, as well as a short lesson on hurdle rates.
