About your Instructor
Your instructor this week is Bay Shen. Bay is currently studying Finance at Schulich and is on track to accomplish his goal to become a full-time stock trader. He has been a student at Explorer Hop since he was in Grade 8, and by Grade 9 he had his own real portfolio. A few years ago, he led the Explorer Hop team at the Wharton Investment Competition and placed in the top 3% worldwide. Bay has been teaching this program for the last 2 years and is a very hands on trader.

Student arrival time: 9.50 AM (PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE)
The instructor will meet all the students at the gate at 9.50 AM and take them to the class. There is a lot of construction in the area, so please allow for traffic and subway delays. Please note the facility has informed us that the gates will close at 10 AM so please do not be late.
Student dismissal time: 12:00 Noon
Students will be self dismissed and can leave the building on their own, so if you are meeting your young investor, please arrive at 12:00 Noon or make arrangements to meet up with them in the neighbourhood.
What should young investors bring
- A device on which they can access the trading platform (Phone, tablet or computer are all ok - however it can get a bit tricky on the Phone). All young investors are responsible for their devices.
- Snack - the usual nut free, peanut free rules apply.
