Today we learned more about the United Nations, their peacekeeping mission and how they work to maintain harmony in the world. We also conducted a formal debate on a global issue surrounding Data and Technology.

Hello Everyone!
Thank you for another great day of camp!
Today we learned all about the United Nations and the different world issues they work to solve. We also conducted another round of practice debates to get us prepped for our formal debate on Friday!
Tomorrow we will get an in-depth understanding of different world issues and develop solutions on how to solve them. We will also have a formal debate where the students will pick a country to represent. See you then!

Today we learned how to address our opponents during a formal debate and then tested our knowledge by conducting our first 2 mock debates! The topics were as followed:
- Should students be aloud to have cellphones at school?
And
- Should kids be allowed to play video games?
Tomorrow we will learn all about the United Nations and what they do! Cant wait! See you tomorrow.
